Jesus is nailed to the Cross

People in the Philippines are now suffering from the COVID19 pandemic; natural calamities (earthquakes, typhoons, floods); poverty, nothing to eat, no clothes to wear; homelessness, killings due to drugs, trafficking, interrupted schooling of children, curtailed freedom of expression, broken families and unemployment.

These sufferings of people challenge us to always see how Jesus suffered for us and calls us to see Christ in everyone we encounter.

Mother Mary who is in front of Jesus nailed to the Cross shows how she accepted the sufferings of her Son without complaint, instead she gave support and compassion.
