2. B. TERTIANSHIP<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nThe Tertianship is referred to in Ignatian terminology as a \u2018School of the Heart\u2019. By this is meant a transformation of the affectivity of the person in the depths of her heart, a transformation that is meant to enable her to transcend her own \u201cself-love, self-will and self-interest,\u201d and receive more fully the gift of God. This stage is a time of grace which offers to the religious an opportunity to give herself to apostolic life with renewed zeal, through the total gift of her person to the Crucified and Risen Lord.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.6.5″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”Arial||||||||” custom_padding=”0px|||||”]<\/p>\n
