The new foundation in the Republic of Benin is now a reality!
From 25 January, three sisters from the Province of Africa will form the new community of Gbadoa, in the diocese of Porto-Novo in Benin: Sr. Mary Udom, Sr. Prisca Zenaide Gbaguidi, and Sr. Celina Aor. Through their presence and service, they are sent to make Jesus and Mary known and loved in the Diocese of Porto-Novo, particularly in the Parish of St. Rita of Cascia, Gbada.
Sr. Sandra Udeh, Provincial Bursar, will accompany the sisters during the initial phase of the mission to ensure that all practical arrangements and requirements are in order. The Provincial Superior, Sr. Linda Abicha, will join them at a later date. During the first few months, they will live at the Pastoral Centre of the Diocese of Porto-Novo while they look for a place near the mission to live and work.
